The hum of gentle conversation and the subtle clinking of cutlery create a backdrop that’s both intimate and welcoming.
The atmosphere here is unpretentious yet attentive—a place where genuine smiles from the staff and the owner make you feel like you are not just a visitor, but a guest in a thoughtfully curated home away from home. There’s a rhythm to the evening: dishes arrive with care, each plate telling a story of spices and fresh ingredients tuned to modern tastes without losing touch with tradition.

My husband and I visited this restaurant based on the fabulous reviews and it exceeded all expectations! We drove an hour from Obidos to visit Tomar and eat here for dinner and we would happily drive just for dinner. The experience was excellent from the first moment, we were greeted with a smile and had impeccable service throughout the meal. We ordered the chicken samosas, South Indian fish curry, chicken biryani and garlic naan along with a bottle of local house red wine. Food was just incredible - best Indian food we have eaten in Portugal after being here for over two years - the spices and complexity were top notch. The sauces were a welcome addition - tamarind, raita, mango and chili - they made the meal really special. The owner recommended how to mix them with each dish so the flavours just popped. We hope to visit again soon - thank you!!

What a hidden gem! The food here is truly authentic, and the owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed the masala chai, garlic naan, chicken curry, chicken biryani, and rice pudding. Every dish we ordered was fantastic, and we even went for a second round of masala chai because it was so delicious!

Excellent food, excellent service! The food was delicious. We had ordered a veggie selection of veg biryani, veg kofta, kadai paneer and bread. All were delicious and the presentation was good. The premises are very well maintained. The owner and the service staff were very friendly and hospitable.

I think this was the best Indian meal since very long! We were a group of 5, all had different dishes and we all loved everything! Papadums and vegetable fritters for starters, followed by the best onion bahji ever. Then we had chicken jalfrezi, butter chicken, lamb tandoori, chicken tandoori and Prawn tika. And ofcourse the great garlic naan. Owner was very friendly and attentive, as was the lovely girl serving us. We left a happy bunch of people ;) We will definately go back!! Thank you so much!

What a shame I could not give this an extra star for being so so so good. Been there several times and plan on going many many more. Every visit has been superb. Tried several dishes now and each time the food is always delicious and amazing. The presentation is excellent. The host and the service is fantastic. The atmosphere is great. I could not ask for more.

Just to give you an idea of how good this is we travel two hours and stay locally in a well know hotel just to dine at this restaurant. I cannot praise the food/owner and staff highly enough it is by far the best Indian food I’ve tasted in Portugal and I cannot say I’ve tasted better in the UK (although I didn’t try every restaurant) despite trying my hardest

Giving it 5* for all options there is very little to add. The food was fantastic, the service was very fast, very friendly and very attentive. The server we had spoke perfect English and made us feel very welcome and valued customers. We will definitely be visiting here again, but not going to make it too regular otherwise it will spoil the special occasion feeling if eating here. 100% recommend this restaurant to those that love traditional Indian food cooked to the highest standards and with authentic Indian flavours and tastes
